Often, robots are seen as mechanical devices designed to simply make things more efficient. But, when you produce an autonomous mobile robot that works safely among people and even the public, things can get animated!
UPMC is a great Aethon customer who has deployed 27 mobile robots over a wide spectrum of uses including pharmacy, nutrition services, and environmental services. This Halloween, the UPMC pharmacy team made elaborate costumes for the TUG robots and set them loose delivering candy to children. It was such a fun way to make the children’s experience a little happier.
